Classy and unpretentious -- traditional Chinese cuisine with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and special family recipes. An understated blending of Chinese art into a contemporary setting. The arrangement of the wood tables and chairs and the absence of music are well suited to business meetings and quiet conversation. The menu has everything from happy family in a shredded potato basket to sweet and sour pork to Peking duck (order in advance). The spring rolls, lightly fried and served with a spicy ginger sauce, are a perfect starter. For a light meal, the wonton soup ($5.95), brim full of shrimp and vegetables, can serve two. The lunch buffet ($7.95) features six entréées and includes everything from soup to dessert.
