I bought these to secure a canoe to my Thule roof rack. It has worked great as there are four supports that latches on the the racks that prevents the canoes from moving. The straps are also multipurpose, so when not using the canoe you can use it for other things to secure onto the roof rack.

Used for ladders. Daily. Very good product. I use the tie downs for holding trailer loads.
