The Alpina Tracker cross country ski features aggressive Nordic side-cut dimensions and 3/4 steel edges which make maneuvering in any snow condition a pleasure. The Posi-grip base and the computer-matched flex pattern ensure the perfect mix of grip and glide on extended tours or afternoon jaunts. The Alpina Tracker makes a decent one-ski quiver for recreational skiers, because it's tough enough to cruise the backcountry but also performs respectably on the track.

These skiis are light and very quick to move when leaving a groomed trail to off trail. The metal edges are great for the down hill portions of the outings. I feel much more in control and can be much more relaxed. I would recomment them for beginners as well as the seasoned skiier.
