Sliding the bag with skis in across rubber mat in back of PU cut the material. So don't slide. I bought the bag to keep bindings clean and to mount horizontally for storage. With care it will do the job. I would buy it again.

The reason I ordered this bag was because the Tech Specs claim it is padded - not the case. This bag is NOT PADDED. Also, the description mentions a removable padded shoulder strap - again, not the case. There is a removable strap, it just is not padded. The picture of the bag is a little misleading, as it looks like a hardshell, but this too is not the case. I am imagining the picture was taken with the bag fully stuffed with tissue paper or something. So don't be misled by the picture. All that aside, the bag is made of a durable nylon. I ordered the pink plaid and was very impressed by the fabric - I was assuming it would be a print, but instead is a nice woven plaid. Bottom line: great bag if you don't mind wrapping your skis in towels first!

from the picture, i thought this was a hard case, which i didn't want at first, but the more i thought about it, the more i wanted it to be a hard casewell, it ended up being a soft case but it still does the trick which looking awesomedakine has definately put quality into their ski bag, and with 2 different sizes, makes it very practical as you won't have a ton of extra bag at the end (which is what happened with my old bag)now the only thing is i have no clue where these "pockets" are. the tech specs say there's 2 pockets on te the ends, 1 side and 1 internal, but i couldn't find a single oneand the bag isn't padded either. its just a nylon bag
