Blizzard Big Akira Alpine Ski w/ FR 16 IQ Binding description

Bust out the Blizzard Big Akira Alpine Ski for your AK excursion or the storm of the season at your home mountain. These twintip guns charge the steeps on a powerful titanium-reinforced wood core and included 16-DIN IQ binding. Blizzard designed these skis for big-mountain charger Akira Sasaki and his regimen of big lines and slough-racing speeds. The Big Akira's IQ sandwich compound sidewalls maintain powerful torsional rigidity while you arc GS turns over manked-up faces and variable snow conditions. The large 130mm shovel puts you up on top of the light stuff and the full twin tail butters effortlessly out of deep, haul-ass turns in the pow. Bag first tracks and push the Akira hard to get back to the tram line. The extremely responsive IQ integrated binding system seamlessly transmits power into the Akira's edge, making the 105mm waist more than manageable while you race the tram back down the mountain. And the included 16-DIN IQ binding packs power for your powder lust.

Bottom Line: The Big Akira serves up big-mountain lines like Hattori Hanzo serves up steel work.

Big Awesome Very Big Akira!!
Chris Tatsuno:

As my one-stick quiver ski of choice, the Big Akira packs a punch from the first turn through the last drink at apres. Busting through crud and mank at top speeds, this ski "floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee." I can always count on beating my buddies to the bar after last chair with these flashy sticks; and the samurai graphics are a total chick magnet! BANZAI !!!!

Super Sick Skis
rellika832092975:

These skis are a great all-around mountain ski. They rip in the pow and still do well on the groomers. I recommend them if you are looking for a good powder ski that is not a reverse camber. The bindings are super sick as well. They are a top binding and are hard to find (at least up in AK.) I love them and recommend them to anyone who wants to have a good day on the slopes!!
