good but not great
Over the hill hard core: 
My last pair of Salomons were "Customs" and i thought they were spectacular....however, after 100+ days they were definitely played. Got the "Jades" mid season and liked them right away, simply because they had the pop that had gone out of my old skis. After 20-25 days my opinion has changed abit. They are not quite as quick, a bit front heavy and therefore not quite as good in bumps or groomed, respectively. I like them and they are good for an expert, aggressive skier, but they are not spectacular.
