Powder hound ski
teleknees:

This is great for doing more powder then not. The best part is that it still does good on hardpack. I demoed the ski last year and loved it in all conditions mostly powder. The binding works well with control and power. I wouldn't go back east with this one, rockie are where it is at with this ski.

OUTLAW RULES
askaspen1099494:

I live in Aspen and this is my third year on the Outlaw. A few years back the buzz was the K2 Recon which everyone had or was demoing. After being blown away by the Recon when I went to buy it the guys at the shop said they all moved to the Outlaw. I said no way. They said way. I demoed I bought. Even on the groomed you can open em up like a 210s. 200lbs on a 174? Way. I try only to ski powder days. I don't have the pistons which just make the ski hard to carry in the tram line. Had them on a par of Vokels and couldn't tell a difference at high speed GS turns. May be they work better now.But still hard to grab with on hand. The ski is more big mountain then the Recon. You love either!

light, quick, fun!
deepsteep:

I demoed the outlaw last December at Alta. My buddy bought a pair earlier in the season and kept tellin me how much fun they were. My skier type... Id def say very aggressive, and maybe a little crazy at times- Im a college student, ok? Im 6'4" 180lbs, usually ride no shorter than 90 waist, just cause Im apprehensive for my desired terrain. They were out of the 181, so being a week day, they cut me a deal on the 174. Now, the powder ability was surprisingly good, not amazing though. My friend who is on patrol at Big Sky has the 181 for his long days, and I can understand his decision. Very light, responsive, fast, and capable of hitting anything on the mountain. Personally, for my riding preference, I like a wider and stiffer, If I was an all mtn skier, no question, these would be the setup. You wont find em' at a better deal, at 500 you are borderline stealing these!
