I have skied on the 777's and the 888's over the last couple of seasons and think they are terrific. Bought the 999's thinking they would be similarly good skis. Turns out they are way too heavy and unresponsive, very hard to turn in any heavy snow conditions, ok on groomers if you lay them way over. They come with a lot of structure in the base which probably creates some of the problem in turning, I am going to have my base redone to try to fix the problem.
Enjoyable enough.

They worked well on the groomers and busting through crud. I skied the 174s, which suited me well, an advanced skier of 190 lbs. at 5'10". Did not get to ski powder with them, but imagine they would float pretty well with the girth. One of the points I really did not dig on them was the weight. They were just a bit too heavy, especially skiing them in a 174.
