Removable ear pads help you regulate your temperature while hiking the pipe or a kicker. Stereo headphones and a built in control cord comes standard issue with Giro's Audio TuneUps System. Giro gave the control cord an inline mute button so you actually hear what your riding buddies are saying on the lift. |

Helmet is great. The skull candy ear flaps work great especially with the inline mute button. Limited padding but still fit okay.
Great Helmet! Especially for BSG fans

The helmet itself gets 5 stars.. Its got awesome looks and I like looking like a BSG marine :) :) BSG used these exact same helmets to save cost and weight.The audio gets 3 stars though.. for being very mediocre. They don't have a great soundstage and they sound better when you push the earflaps against your ears... but you wont be able to do this when you're riding down the mountain.I wish GIRO teamed up with a different company than skullcandy to make their audio flaps.

The helmet is surprisingly comfortable and has great sound quality. The only problem is that goggles can't sit well on the front of it because of the curved rim.
