I bought this ski based on reviews only and I was a little concerned that I had made the right choice. But Powder Mag and the ski testers knew what they were doing when they gave it the Skier's Choice Award. This ski is phenomenal! I took it to a ski area to get to know it and dial it in. The Joule cut through crud like a hot knife through butter, was impressive holding an edge when I opened it up on the groomers, and was extremely nimble making quick turns in the trees. I was a little worried that the light weight would cause it to be deflected and tossed around in heavy stuff, but no worries...it was solid. This ski will make you a super star.FYI, I had it mounted with Dynafit TLT Vertical ST bindings (which were impressively solid BTW), and used the Garmont Mega Stars (also impressively stiff and LIGHT).
