I've used Fox protective gear a lot and they can take a lot of abuse. I ride 2 - 3 times a week on SoCal Trails and bring these lightweight guards with me for the gnarly descents. They are very comfortable with little restriction of movement. My only note to Fox would be to have some way to fasten the loose ends of the adjustment straps so they don't flap at 40 MPH on a fast downhill fireroad. :-)
