MontBell America, Inc. U.L. Alpine Down Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down description

The weather outside your tent might be frightful, but you'll stay delightfully warm to 15-degrees Fahrenheit inside the MontBell U.L. 800-Fill Down Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag.

Bottom Line: For lightweight backpacking trips or alpine climbs, it's hard to do better than #1.

Silver Lake in June
climber by choice:

There is no doubt about it, this bag is warm. I spent the night in an area surrounded by snow, but the night was pretty warm, I'm guessing high 40's. Combined with my Exped down mat I was too hot and slept with the bag unzipped all night. I love the stretchy seams which allow an amazing amount of movement. The one downside is I had to shell out the extra money for the Long version. I tried regular at the store and it was way to short. I am 5'11" and 170 pounds. When they say it is up to 5'10" they mean it. I think someone 5'8" would be ok, maybe. But then I like a little room.Great bag, light and warm.

Akos:

Outside temp ~17F very dry weather, water froze inside the tent as well. I was wearing warm base layer pants, wicking layer plus a thin wool pullover and wool socks. Plus a liner in the bag. The bag kept me warm, feet to. Didn't feel any cold spots and was confortable. I'm 6' and bought and the bag is the long one which was quite spatious. The next nights were a bit warmer (still below freezing point) and the bag was toasty. Packs small and really lightweight.
