This 40-degree down bag weighs just a hint more than a pound and compresses smaller than a bread loaf. Big Agnes used 800-fill down, super lightweight Toray shell fabric, and quilt construction to create such an airy bag. A water-repellent finish on the Pitchpine means you can sleep under the stars and not worry about light precip. A sleeve holds your Big Agnes mummy-shaped pad so you don't wake up lying next to your pad instead of on it. * Note: Don't opt to cut more weight by leaving your pad at home when you use this bagthe pad replaces insulation on the bag's bottom. |

This bag is warm light and did I say light. With my bivy pad and bag all in one stuff sack it compress small than most bags. The only thing I don't care for is the straps that hold the pad instead of the full cover. This would not be a problem for most but I like to keep the pad in the bag and the bag in the bivy for easy camping. I work on the trinity alps trail crew and have already abused this bag more than most ever would. It's holding up great.
