These straps did the trick when it came to securing my hammock. There were times travelling that we were not using trees to hang hammocks and even on metal poles these clung tight. My only concern was on larger trees these were not long enough and an adjustable rope or cam straps were used, (some came with my hammock).Excellent product for some situations but not all. Serious hammocker's must.
Be nice to the trees and get the straps

The straps make it easy to set the hammock up and they are tree friendly. The hammock won't slide down the tree at all with these straps. Also they extend your reach from tree to tree. They only weigh a few ounces so they are worth it.
