I have two of the small-size stuff sacks and I prefer them to a drawcord stuff sack. Pros - they are easy access, especially if you are using them for a bunch of small stuff; zip instead of drawcord means there is no chance of small things falling out, and theres no trailing cord. Cons - if you are fanatical about volume, you might not like the small handles and zip.

Realy good for gear storage. But be careful, if some soft texture stuff is on top. Zip can sucked it down. But in compare with advanteges zip is nothing. Comfortable handling, easy packing, firm fabric.
