Oakley XS Five Sunglasses - Iridium Lens description It doesn't take a genius to figure out what the XS stands for in the Oakley XS Five Sunglassesthese shades offer big-time style and protection in a small package. These Oakleys are great for youths aged around 10 and up or for adults with extra small faces. The pure Plutonite lenses offer distortion-free clarity, block 100% of harmful UV rays and surpass ANSI Industrial Standards for impact protection. Oakley gave these dark lenses an Iridium coating to block glare and make the XS Fives great for bright light conditions. |
Perfect size for small adult or child
graham0810:
I am a small adult female and these are the perfect size for me. They don't take up a ton of room to store in a bag or purse, nor do they fall off or take over my whole face; but they are still full enough to look good and provide adequate coverage. I have a pair of Oakley "Script," and these are a similar shape, just MUCH smaller in size.As a word of caution, in terms of the size, these really do appear to be kid-size glasses to me. They would far too small most people older than 11 or 12--that is, unless they have a small face. They look ridiculous and/or just don't fit on several other adults who have tried them.
These sunglasses are Perfect for my son!

This is my son's third pair. He has sun sensitivity of the eyes. This is the only pair of sunglasses that not only fit him, but are also dark enough for his eyes.
