Thule Snowboard Carrier description Thule's Snowboard Carrier is a handy holster for two boards that tells the two-plankers where they can put their racks. | Bottom Line: Let the skiers find their own rack. |
Good solution
restinpieces3490:
The rest of my family skis, and this is a great solution - takes up a lot less space. Although pricy, I can vouch for the stability and worth of the Thule construction. Arrived from on time, in perfect condition.
Make sure the distance between you bindings is not wider then the rack.
Anonymous:
I ride a 162 Custom and the bindings are set far enough apart then it makes the carrier angle out toward the ends. It just doesn't look that safe but it has worked fine so far. I have a 06 Honda Accord and if I rode a shorter board it would be fine but the distance between then bindings is longer then the distance between the bars so it makes them bend outward. Just something to think about because a 724 is about the same money and will hold two boards fine.
no problems here
deedub:
This rack installs quick, fits any factory or aftermarket rack. I like it because it is not as wide as the 724 and so it fits next to my Thule box very well.
Does the job.
Jasper:
The rack does the job, but there are a few drawbacks. First the adjustments can't really be fine tuned, and the straps might bee too tight on the board, or too loose. Also in high wind your snowboards will act like a rudder, and if you drive a small car this could be a problem.
