Been traveling with my ORV for about a year now. I can get both me and wife's stuff for almost any length vacation. The key to this bag is that it always comes in UNDER the airlines weight limit. Uncanny how that works so well.

Check in luggage cannot exceed 62 linear inches and this bag totals 61(30+15+16=61). I dont understand why the person below was fined. I had to add a star rating even though I dont own this bag but I am seriously considering.

I haven't really used the trunk yet, but I have explored it pretty well. It's got a lot of capacity and with many of the Eagle Creek packing accessories, I think it will hold a lot of stuff. The water-tight compartment on the bottom of the trunk is a great feature, and the fact that you can load the trunk in the upright position will greatly eliminate shifting of the contents. It's got big external pockets and comfortable straps and handles. I think it'll be this traveler's dream luggage.

After three weeks and four countries in Africa, the bag held up great. I was able to get everything stuffed in the bag and still had room for extras. The wheels worked over all kinds of terrain.

Well built and designed. Empty it's pretty light and it holds a ton of stuff.
