MSR Denali III Trekking Pole - 1 Pair description

The MSR Denali III Trekking Pole is a technical and cost-efficient pole for backcountry snowboarders, alpine climbers, and anyone else who ventures into the wilderness. Made from 7000 series aluminum, this three-section pole is lightweight and telescopic for easy packing. The replaceable steel tips are durable enough for packed snow and rough trails, while dual density rubber grips minimize shock for comfort on long hikes. The Denali III pole's winter baskets are designed with snowshoeing in mind, providing excellent flotation in deep snow.

Denali III is Royale
Laura Albert:

I used these poles while hiking across Isle Royale. I had a tip from another friend who said that trekking poles really help and they did. I enjoyed them and I can't wait to test them in the snow! That is the best part about these poles is that they are easily converted from one season to another. Very affordable for a college student or a hiker on a budget.

Great Pair of Poles
Michael Kisow:

I have had 2 pairs of these and love them. The pow baskets rock and the 3 sections allow them to fold down smaller than traditional 2 section poles! They fit great on and in packs. They are strong enough to use for BC skiing, snowshoeing, and climbing. The only problem is be very careful not to over extend the sections because it can be VERY frustrating to fix. Over all, A+ Product. I bought a pair from dicks sporting goods online and they only sent me ONE pole and the CSR and the manager told me I was crazy and since they were in a call center in Flordia they did not understand why I would need two snowshoe poles. I called MSR and they told me I was right. Dicks never resolved my issue. Bottomline is stick with this website because they really do know the gear they sell.

Trekking Poles are A+

I just recently hiked a couple of trails in the Smoky Mountains and was able to test my pair of MSR poles. They performed excellent. The locking mechanism works perfectly. They are stronger than I anticipated. The price was great also.
