Good Stuff!
Ride07:
I like this pack. It is comfortable and has good space for what I have to carry. Those side pockets may not be big enough for a full size Nalgene, but they are good for any 20oz bottle or anything smaller. Overall, a good mid to smaller size lumbar pack. Oh yea, did I mention it's rugged? Great materials and I like the taped zippers on the front to keep out water.
Great pack

The Mountain Smith Swift 2 Lumbar Pack is excellent. Its great for a day hike, and very comfortable to wear. The only downside is I thought it would be bigger than it is, and the water bottle pockets on each side are a little to small for a Nalgene.
Mountainsmith lumbar pack

Like all Mountainsmith stuff, it's the best. This company is a prompt shipper with decent prices, too.
Great pack

I was originally concerned that this pack would be too big and dorky looking, but I have changed my mind. I walk my dog about 4.5 miles a day and carry this pack with me. It holds water for us both, my MP3 player, a fold up bowl for the dog and a tennis ball (I have a lab!). I have plenty of room for lots more stuff, so if we went out on a hike for the day, I am sure I could fit some snacks for us both, too. It is a great, durable pack that I am glad I bought it.
