CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack - 3L description

The CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack's burly nylon material withstands your harshest treatment, so go ahead and blast down the single track on your mountain bike.

Bottom Line: Wreak absolute havoc on your mountain bike ride with this CamelBak 3L hydration pack.

Size counts
jus_gary:

I really like the size of the pack, initially buying it for mountain biking and doing long climbing routes. It can hold my hiking shoes, a jacket, water and miscellaneous other items. The compression panel does not work well for a biking helmet, but what really sucks is the water reservoir. When filled, even half full(1.5l), it causes the pack not to lay flat against my back. I resolved the problemby adding a stiffener and using a competitors' flatter reservoir. But most of the time I just throw awater bottle in the main compartment.

Love It
skipowpow:

I like the attention to detail. Perfect MTB hydration pack, but will work for so much more too. Really like the way the badder zips in.

Awesome Pack
island_par2208197:

I really like the pack, i got it for mountain biking, it's a good solid pack, and it holds my all my gear and lunch plus the handy electronics compartment really makes getting at my camera and mp3 player a breeze while on the trail. The 3 litre water reservoir is great for those hard extended rides. I've had a couple of camelbak hydration packs and this beats them all, great buy for the outdoors rider.

A MTB must have
symb406:

If you're like me and don't ride without the essentials, this is the perfect pack. Tools, tubes, camera, and trail maps all fit with ease plus there's room for a lunch and a light jacket. The pic makes the pack look bigger than it really is, so don't worry about (see dimensions below in the Q&A). The area that rests on your back has vents which allow air to circulate between the pack and your jersey. And it really works too.

Good but could be better.
Downwindz:

Overall I'm very satisfied with the Havoc. I'm not using it for its intended purposes, but rather for carrying video/camera equipment while traveling through Africa. The hydration system is great, fit is great but the pocket design and locations could have been better placed.
