Petzl Selena Harness - Women's description

Petzl designed the Women's Selena Harness with a combination of perforated closed-cell foam and mesh material to provide excellent ventilation and help you stay cool on hot days. This well-ventilated design also offers excellent padding to make your hanging belay a bit more comfortable. Petzl gave the Selena Harness pre-formed gear loops to keep your rack organized and a rear sling to haul your tag line on multi-pitch climbs. Of course, this women's harness also has Petzl's sought-after, pre-threaded DoubleBack buckle to allow quick entry and easy adjustments on the go.

I use a Selena in Large because the Sama in Large is slightly too large in the waist for me and the Medium Sama is too small in the legs for me. I am not a chicken legged dude, as many sport climbers are (not that I often don't wish for that, especially when I am flaming out and I am getting sloppy with my feet). This harness is extremely comfortable, light and functional...the complete package. I use it ice climbing as well since I am able to get boots with crampons through the leg loops. That is the test if you want to use it for ice climbing. Be well.

I love this harness and am so glad I got it. It's really comfy with the extra padding and makes me feel good and stable when I'm hanging around. Much better than my boyfriends old giant harness I was using before. If you're on the edge of sizing, definitely go with the bigger size. I almost got a small, and it probably wouldn't have fit even though I wear a size small in most everything else.

It's super comfortable, fits well and springs. And it's colourful!!!
