Canyoneering

This hook works great for canyoneering as well. Instead of leaving webbing behind or putting in a bolt, just hook it to a flake of rock and repeal off it. When you get down just flick the rope to recover the hook. Great tool.

This thing sees a lot more use than I thought it would. I keep it with me while I am climbing and ends up hanging me from gear while I am trad climbing or doing a project. I like the Petzl hook better though, seems lighter but doesnt come with the sling.
