CAMP USA Vector Nanotech Crampons description

Camp uses Nanoflex steel to make their Vector Nanotech Crampons 7oz lighter and 20% stronger than crampons made with standard CroMo steel. This makes them completely rustproof and allows thinner points for increased penetration while maintaining exceptional durability. The Vector Nanotech Crampons also shatter less ice than conventional crampons thanks to the Nanoflex steel's vibration absorption. Interchangeable points allow these Camp crampons to be set up with dual points for steep ice and mono points for mixed climbing.

Almost perfect
pmedic19981062551:

There are only two things about these crampons I'd like to change: 1. An anti-snow balling plate. I wore them on a climb of Mont Blanc, and had to knock snow off the bottoms every few minutes. An antibot plate would be wonderful.2. I wish the second set of points were just a wee bit larger. When front pointing, I find that the secondary points don't seem to get as deep as other sets of crampons I've used.Otherwise, they're perfect. Light, strong, adjustable, and CAMP customer service is top rate.

14 Beautiful Points!
Steve Tibbitts:

These babies went all the way. 14 beautiful points for the just in case work great! They feel super stable, are very easy to put on, even with gloves and compact very, very well. Glacier travel is stable, ice climbing is a breeze and I'm happy I bought them for sure!!!

Like the Nanotechs
boston bob:

I have used the Nanotechs twice for ice climbing (grades NEI 2-4. They seems to work very well They are light. I changed to light boots (EVOs) at the sametime and could really tell the weight diference. Of course, the nanotechs were only part of the lighter weight on each foots.
