YAKTRAX Yaktrax Heat Adjustable Insole description

The company who brought you the surefooted security of Yaktrax traction now gives you customized support with the Yaktrax Heat Adjustable Insole.

Bottom Line: Ding! Your custom Yaktrax insoles are ready.

Fast, Easy, Molded Fits
Thomas Candee:

I put these in my snowboard boots & instantly liked what I felt. The liners molded quite well to my foot & the bed feels secure & supporting (I have a pretty high arch). All in all, met my expectations. Worth the money; easy upgrade to any footware.

NOT Disappointed
Wasquatch:

I have these in my Sidi cycling shoes and the difference is unbelievable. The support is far better than the stock insoles, the heat molding was easy, and they haven't packed out noticeably after a season of riding. A flexible gel insole (as mentioned by another review) might provide better shock and vibration dampening, but there's NO way it could support your foot alignment better, and support is far more crucial than "gellin like magellan". The Yaktrax won't provide quite as much support for flat arches as Superfeet (because they don't have the flat-bottomed plastic chassis) but they fit in low-volume shoes better, and the bottom layer is a stiff, non-moldable material that has arch support built in. The heat-molding part is in the top layer to give it a custom feel.

Disappointed
heinrichfa2151477:

Was looking forward to sculpted comfort, but I think these guys fell short. I haven't used these for anything hi-impact, but for everyday walking/hiking wear they don't give enough support. (read: my feet hurt at the end of the day)Go to your local retailer and get some gel insoles.

niiiiice
stoad:

I dropped these into my sidi bike shoes and love them. not too thick, not too thin, just right... you can follow the easy directions and avoid a trip to the custom orthotics shop (no I'm not a doctor, I just play one on the internet). I would suggest to do the fitting when your feet are fresh & relaxed, i.e. before spending half the day in the shoes/boots that you later plan to use the inserts in and get your feet out of their preferred shape.

Works as well as custom orthodics!!!
Mike Mullins:

This are slick and a great savings over the custom heat molded insoles for ski boots at expensive outfitters. I bought these being a little skeptical, but I needed something to support my high arches that were getting cramped during skiing. These have totally solved my issues and make my boots feel so much more comfortable...they feel better than new! Just pop them in the oven at 225F and then stick them in your boots, followed by your feet, and you have custom footbeds! Awesome! Buying several more as presents for skiers...
