I bought this shirt for my Dad to use on his backpacking trips. The sun protection rating was a key point in my purchasing decision. He's worn this shirt out hiking a ton and loves it.

Fit is somewhere between athletic and and regular, allows a little bit of gut but not too much. You don't have to be athletic to wear this but you can't really be overweight either. Otherwise it won't look too good. Great shirt for exercising, go for a walk, jog or bike run in this and look good doing it.
