I am very pleased with this purchase and the delivery time was super fast to Perth, Western Australia. This jacket/coat has great detailing and the design has been well thought out. With regards to: the location of pockets; zips on the external pockets; a stud tab at the bottom for a complete seal when you zip and velcro the front; the lining is excellent with nice colour contrast detailing, I got the Wood colour (dark rich brown) which has turquoise piping sealing the panels of the dark grey lining - nice! The great bonus with this garment is that you still look feminine wearing it. The shell fabric is much softer than Gore-Tex. I have yet to test it in the real weather but I'm sure it will work as well as has been reported. The sizing is generous, I got the large as I am a size 14 (English size) and there is heaps of room for a sweater or two underneath. I love it and would buy more Marmot products in the future without hesitation! Enjoy!

This is a beautiful coat. It's a really elegant cut, like a traditional trench coat. The length is perfect. I got this to serve as my main walking-around-town winter coat. If I wear a sweater under it it's plenty warm enough for just about any weather where I live in SC, and though it's waterproof it doesn't scream "raincoat." (I keep the hood off it most of the time.) It's very lightweight and has plenty of room to move. By way of comparison, I have the Marmot Furlong jacket in Medium (and can't wear thick layers under it), but this I got in Small and still have enough layering room.
