Not worth the price!
slipkick ray from Canada:

First off, let me say that Im a huge fan of Burton's AK line but I'm not overly impressed with this glove. Although the 3L Hover mitt is quite stylish and virtually impossible for water to penetrate, the gloves' fit is feels completely wrong! Wearing all three gloves provided will definitely keep you warm but at what cost. The glove becomes bulky. I found wearing only the 1 inside liner and the shell is much more comfortable. You have the option to pull off the outer shell while keeping the inner liner on, which is great for doing up your bindings or changing your playlist on your iPod. Keep in mind that putting your outer shell back on can be a pain in the ass trying to match the male a female hook-and-loop parts so that your gloves become one again. The cuffs are longer than last year's model, but I still have issues getting a good snow tight seal over my AK Jackets. The wrist is very tight while the length of the fingers is too long. I have more than an inch of play, which is a bit annoying. The design appears to be more durable than last year with improved leather and leather treatment included with your gloves. I will be putting the glove through the ultimate backcountry test over the next 2 months. My snowboarding tour begins tomorrow. I'll keep you posted with just how well the AK 3L Hover stands up to the challenge.

Passed 30 minutes in an ice bucket test.
(Baz):

You will never again say to yourself "my hands are cold," and chances are pretty good that you can say goodbye to hand warmers forever. Hands down the best Burton glove I have ever purchased. If warmth is your game this glove is your best friend.

Not bad...
Supra Dupra:

This is a great glove but it does have its faults. The suede patch on the back of the hands (where it says 'ak') is a stupid idea. snow sticks to it and makes it cold. I normally just wear the stretch glove with it and this makes my hands cold! We don't need the suede for looks! Also, get the nikwax on the leather from day 1 because it gets damaged easily

Best Gore-Tex shell available, liner not sized correctly
Anspach:

This glove has an excellent Gore-Tex shell that is very durable and well-constructed. However, the middle insulation liner is definitely to small for most hands; i don't have large hands. I purchased a large (the Burton sizing chart sized me at a medium) yet still the liner was too tight with all three layers on. To fix the problem, since I really like the shell was to order Outdoor Research's PL 400 Mitt Liner. I would recommend this combination. It's still a three layer glover because I have the Burton 4-way stretch inside the OR mitt liner.
