Excellent for ice climbing - I live in La Paz Bolivia, and I used them to climb the Huayna Potosi at 6.100 meters over sea level, very warm and good abrasion for ice axe.May be it was not complete waterproof as I was expecting.

Seemed like a well made glove, but I returned them immediately after doing a dunk test with the gloves on. The entire thumb section is NOT made of waterproof material and soaked through entirely to my thumbs. Like I said, it seems like a well made glove just not what I was looking for.
