Ride Society Snowboard description

Find the biggest jump on the mountain and point itthe Ride Society Snowboard will help you stomp it.

Bottom Line: If you hang out with the park crowd, the Ride Society Snowboard will fit right in.

Best board ever !
Mr_Tidbit:

I was fortunate enough to attend a demo back in February and got to ride this board. This board has a similar flex to the DH, but has more pop to it with the extra carbon fiber underfoot. It carves so much better than the DH with it's quadratic side cut and the base of the board is fast as can be. I rode the 160, I have a 10.5 boot size and had no issues at all with any toe drag at all. I took this board through the park, carving on trail and it some powder in the trees and it was great everywhere. This is definitely going to be my board for the 07/08 snowboard season! If you want something that is a bit snappier and more responsive then the DH and carves as well as an alpine board, but still kills the terrain park you will love this board.

Holy Sh*T
duffyMcpot:

This borad is sick. enough said.

Epic? I think so
Steve Holloman:

The Ride Society is pretty much the Cadillac of snowboards. It cruises, it carves, it pops, it jibs. It does anything that you can throw in front of it. I got to ride the 154 last season and absolutely loved it. Once you're past the break in period, its on like Donkey Kong. The Slimewalls make vibrations slim to none and help when gripping on rails. The Cleavedge is so sick, because you can detune to almost nothing and still have an edge. It is the same flex as the DH, but with the Carbon Array of 5 it is a lot snappier than the DH. I demo'd the DH and the sidecut on this is much more superior to the DH. I recommend this deck to anyone with the idea of wanting to shred the entire mountain as their terrain park.Boo Yah!

Pop Rods and Membrain !
Mr_Tidbit:

The Society is back for 2008/2009 with a couple of brand new features that make this favorite of riders even better.Ride has incorporated the Membrain Topsheet that is used on the Concept UL into the Society making it lighter than last year.Ride also has a new tech called pop rods, which they have put in the tip and tail of the board. Hollow Pop Rods comes from a technology used in fishing poles, this material has been used to make fly rods that you can bend 180 degrees and not snap. So what does this mean to you, you get the same great 6 out of 10 longitudinal flex that you love in the Society, but now you get an added snap in your tip/tail that is unbelievable when riding anywhere on the mountain.Everything else about the Society has stayed the same. Max boot size you can ride on all for sizes is a 10.5 with the 25.1/25.2 waist widths. This board is easily one of the best all-mountain/freestyle boards on the market and you get all the new tech at the same price as last years deck!

This board stepped up my confidence and skills!
Dj Nebula:

This board was incredible in any snow condition! I have the 160 LTD Edition and this board surpassed all expectations I had when I got it. The slimewalls dampen this board so much and the cleave Edge makes turning on ice like turning in powder! Hitting kickers in the park and natural terrain on this board is so much fun, and you feel like you have complete control of this board no matter what the situation. I even got to ride this on some powder days this year here in Utah and on Mt Hood and it just dominated! If you are looking for a board that will ride everything on the mountain, look no further, the Society is the board for you!
