This boot is hot. The Northwave Women's Topaz Snowboard Boot looks just like your aprs slippers, disguising technical features behind a brushed imitation suede upper and faux fur trim. The Topaz has Northwave's TF2 thermo fit liner and S2 conforming footbed, locked inside a triple-layer support frame shell for all-day comfort on the hill and precise power transmission to your board. The anatomic heel pocket design and Northwave's trademark 360 heel hold lacing keep your foot firmly seated, deep in the carve.

I originally got these boots because they were so cute with the firm trim and all. However, I've never heard of Northwave, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. Before I even started snowboarding, my toes were already numb because of how tight the inside liner was. The entire day that I used these boots, the fact that they were pinching my toes so much was causing me a lot of pain. Also, they were a little too loose in the heel/calf area. I was thinking about trying a bigger size, but since the heel was already too loose, I figured a bigger size would have been a bad choice. They were also EXTREMELY stiff. I don't board a lot so I figured they would never get broken in enough to how I would prefer them. Anyway, these are getting returned.

My daughter loves her boots. They were originally bought for my wife but didn't quite fit so my daughter tried them and of course fell in love with the furry tops. She says they are very comfortable and definitely keep her looking good on the slopes for all the guys. If there is anything bad about them she hasn't said it yet.
