Brigham City Travel Information
Brigham City is a very attractive and well kept town of 17,000
people. Its Mormon Box Elder Tabernacle is one of the most beautiful
structures in the state and the restored Brigham City Depot is also
quite handsome. Near town are several interesting stops, including the
ATK Thiokol Propulsion Space Shuttle Rocket Display and the Golden
Spike National Historic Site, where the final spike in the first
transcontinental railroad was driven.
Brigham City’s historic resonance is matched by its outdoor
vibrancy. The small Mantua Reservoir is a nice stop for a little
swimming and sailboating, but Willard Bay State Park and its massive
stretch of water is the main draw for lake lovers. Brigham City also
has fine inns, including historic ones, and plenty of restaurants,
from drive-ins and fast food to sit-down dining. Rentals and
convenience stores are also readily found in Brigham City.
Brigham City is located on Highway 89 a few miles off I-15. It is
55 miles north of Salt Lake City and 25 miles southwest of Logan.
