Below are hikes for the area you selected.

To select another area to hike in Salt Lake City, select Salt Lake City Hiking Trails.

Gobbler's Knob Intermediate
8.3 mile roundtrip 4 to 4-1/2 hours
The relative ease with which Gobblers Knob can be climbed makes it one of the most popular summit destinations in the Wasatch Mountains.

Grandeur Peak Intermediate
5.6 mile roundtrip 3-4 hours
The well maintained trail leads to Grandeur Peak, one of the more prominent peaks of the Wasatch, and a great view out over the city.

Hidden Peak via Gad Valley Road Intermediate
8 mile roundtrip 4 to 4-1/2 hours

Lake Blanche Intermediate
6 mile roundtrip 3 to 3-1/2 hours
Lake Blanche is one of the most popular hikes in the Salt Lake City area, not only because the walk is relatively short and the trailhead easy to get to, but because of the scenic beauty and the geologic attractions within the Lake Blanche Basin.

Lake Mary- Grizzly Gulch Intermediate
6.4 miles (plus 2.5 miles by bicycle) 4 1/4 hours
This hike is located between the ends of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, in the midst of the Brighton and Alta ski areas. It is a very pretty area, with many alpine lakes and green meadows, but unfortunately the presence of so much commercial activity has inevitably degraded the area’s hiking potential.

Lake Solitude from Silver Lake Trail Head Easy
2.8 miles roundtrip 1.5 hours

Lambs Canyon Pass from Elbow Fork Easy
3.4 mile roundtrip 2 hours

Little Black Mountain from Perry's Hollow Intermediate
9.6 mile roundtrip 4 to 4-1/2 hours

Little Water (to Dog Lake) Easy
4 miles roundtrip 2-3 hours
Little Water trail runs generally parallel to Big Water Trail to the same junction near Dog Lake. Little Water runs along an old jeep road through open areas and heavy forest.

Maybird Lakes Intermediate
7.5 mile roundtrip 4 hours

Mill B North Easy
2.2 mile rountrip 2 hours

Mineral Fork Difficult
10 miles roundtrip 4-5 hours

Mount Aire (from Elbow Fork) Intermediate
3.6 mile roundtrip 2-3 hours
This short trail climbs steeply to a great view out over the range. It is well shaded.

Mount Olympus Via Tolcat Canyon Difficult
7.5 mile roundtrip 4-1/2 to 5 hours
Mount Olympus, the peak for which the Mount Olympus Wilderness Area was named, forms a very prominent part of the Salt Lake City skyline, and it has been a favorite hike of the nearby residents. It is not unusual on weekends to see fifty hikers relaxing together on the rocky summit.

Mount Raymond Intermediate
8.1 mile roundtrip 4 to 4-1/2 hours
Mount Raymond is slightly lower than its popular neighbor, Gobblers Knob, but it is more fun to climb. The angular peak rises from the apex of three weathered limestone ridges that come together at roughly equal angles on the eastern side of the Mount Olympus Wilderness Area

Mt. Raymond from Bowman Fork Difficult
10 mile roundtrip 5 to 6 hours

Mueller Park to Rudy's Flat Intermediate
13 mile roundtrip 3-1/2 to 4 hours
The Mueller Park Trail is 13 miles long (out-and-back) and runs through heavy forest.

Neff's Canyon (to Thayne Canyon Pass) Intermediate
8.5 miles roundtrip 2 hours
Neff's Canyon Trail runs along an old jeep road and then climbs into the Mount Olympus Wilderness with some views out over the city.

North Canyon Trail to Rudy's Flat Easy
5 mile roundtrip 2 hours

Pfiefferhorn from Red Pine Difficult
10 mile roundtrip 7 to 8 hours

Pipeline, Rattlesnake to Church Fork Easy
3.1 mile roundtrip 1-1/4 hours

Porter Fork Intermediate
7.4 miles roundtrip 4 hours
The trail climbs steeply up into the Mt. Olympus Wilderness. The first 1-1/2 miles follows a private road past summer homes and then an old jeep road before becoming a foot trail. The trailhead at Porter Fork Road is 4.2 miles up canyon

Red Butte Peak from George's Hollow Easy
3.3 mile roundtrip 1-3/4 hours

Red Pine Lakes Intermediate
7 miles roundtrip 3-4 hours
Located in the heart of Utah’s Lone Peak Wilderness Area, Red Pine Lake definitely ranks among the prettiest of the Wasatch Mountains’ high alpine lakes.

Silver Fork (to Days Fork) Intermediate
4 mile oneway 3 hours
