Alta Ski Area is a 66-year Utah tradition and a favorite with many locals. Alta is for skiers, and has consistent snow and outstanding terrain.
Alta is situated at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon amidst stunningly beautiful granite peaks. It is most noted for its expert runs and Utah's finest powder.
Staying with tradition, Alta is for skiers only, no snowboarders.
