Panguitch Travel Photos

Panguitch is a mid-size town in a valley between the Markagunt and Pausaugunt Plateaus. It has lots of motels, a few private campgrounds, several dining establishments and most other services a traveler might need, including ATV rentals and fishing and hunting permits. Panguitch serves as a good base from which to visit Bryce Canyon National Park (24 miles southeast) as well as the Markagunt Plateau (15 miles southwest).

The town itself is quiet and unassuming, but Triple C Arena has equestrian and rodeo style events year-round. A couple of small, pleasant museums can help a traveler relax after a day of exploring Bryce Canyon and its surrounding wildness. The Paunsagaunt Western Wildlife Museum is just outside the National Park and serves as an educational stop-off after a visit.

Panguitch is located on Highway 89, 31 miles east of I-15. View Area Map.
