Taylor Canyon Trail

Taylor Canyon Trail Taylor Canyon Trail offers the most gradual descent from the Island in the Sky peninsula. The route begins on an old road bed and passes near the deep alcove from which the named spring issues (1/2 mile mark). Switchbacks take you down to the mesa where you enter Trail Canyon and follow it downstream to Taylor Canyon. Along the route are several side canyons that beg exploration.

The trail may at points cross or come close to private property. Please respect the private landowners rights and obey all signs.
