Utah Ski Resort Information
Utah is world famous for its skiing, due to a favorable combination of great mountains, elevation, and storms that gather strength over the warm waters of the Great Salt Lake before dumping light, dry snow. Four major resorts (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton) are only minutes from the Salt Lake Valley, while a number of other ski areas are near other cities along the Wasatch Range.
All of the ski resorts in Utah are listed below. The more expansive and well-known ski resorts are shown as Featured Listings. Click on any ski resort name for complete details on skiing and snowboarding, hotels, condos, photos, maps and much more.
