BLUFF is a small community of 340 people along the San Juan River in the southeastern corner of Utah. It serves mainly as a stopping off point for those traveling in the area and as a base for those running the river. Bluff has several small motels, a few campgrounds, a selection of restaurants and some service stations, grocery stores and shops.

Bluff is located on Hwy. 191/163, 26 miles south of Blanding and 24 miles east of Mexican Hat. To plan your route by car or RV, select the map of Utah, Southeast Utah or Bluff Area. There is no nearby plane, train or bus service.
