BLUFF is a small community of 340 people along the San Juan River in the southeastern corner of Utah. It serves mainly as a stopping off point for those traveling in the area and as a base for those running the river. Bluff has several small motels, a few campgrounds, a selection of restaurants and some service stations, grocery stores and shops. Bluff is located on Hwy. 191/163, 26 miles south of Blanding and 24 miles east of Mexican Hat. To plan your route by car or RV, select the map of Utah, Southeast Utah or Bluff Area.
