This excellent trail climbs beautifully through wildflowers and past several waterfalls to Emerald Lake on the flanks of Mt. Timpanogos. The trailhead is located at the parking lot for Theatre-in-the-Pines picnic area on the Alpine Scenic Loop. (It is also referred to as the Aspen Grove Trail.) |

If you've got the time and the stamina, this is the hike to take. You'll be treated to outstanding scenery and terrific panoramas and, of course, the satisfaction of making it to the top. This trail follows the Emerald Lake Trail to Emerald Lake. The trail to the summit starts 300 yards west of Emerald Lake. |

This steep trail climbs past pretty waterfalls and cascading water to a ridge along the east side of Big Baldy. You'll have great views over the Utah Valley and of Mt. Timpanogos. The trailhead is at the eastern end of 200 South in Pleasant Grove at Kiwanis Park. |

This pleasant, easy trail climbs from near Maple Lake up to Red Lake, a good picnic spot. To reach the trailhead take the Mt. Nebo Loop Road 6.5 miles to Maple Bench Campground. Take FS Route 20, a dirt road, towards Maple Lake. The signed trailhead is a few hundred yards before the lake on the left side. |

Dry Creek Trail climbs along a tumbling mountain stream in the Lone Peak Wilderness providing access to a network of trails in the wilderness area. At mile 2.5 is North Mountain Trail that heads north for 2 miles to Lake Hardy. At 3.3 miles is Box Elder trail that heads south to Box Elder Peak. At the end of the trail at 4.8 miles is Deer Creek Trail and White Canyon Trail. |
