In the Northern section of the Wasatch Plateau Scofield State Park sits along the shore of 2,800-acre Scofield Reservoir. It has two campgrounds. Madsen Bay is located along the northeastern shore. 40 RV sites and 100 tent sites; drinking water; modern restrooms w/showers; elev. 7,600'; open May-Nov; reservations: 800-322-3770; $9. Joes Valley Reservoir campground is on the western shore of Joes Valley reservoir, 18 miles west of Orangeville. 49 sites; drinking water; vault toilets; elev. 7,100'; open 5/15-10/15; reservations: 800-280-2267; $8 single family sites/$15 double family sites. There is also a parking area at the boat ramp with 12 reservable sites for $6. Also has 1 group site. Finally, towards the southern end of the plateau are 3 additional Forest Service campgrounds.
