Description

American Fork Canyon is a very modern climbing destination, the result of conscious local effort to develop unique and challenging climbs. The real attraction here is sport climbing and since the canyon is only about a half an hour from Salt Lake City, the climbs are in high demand on the weekends.

There are hundreds of routes to find along the steep and predominately limestone canyon walls. The routes are known for being seemingly tough compared to their ratings. American Fork offers some of the best technical and crimpy climbs along the Wasatch Range and in northern Utah.
