Length:
5 miles oneway

1000 feet
Season:

Description

This is a stream-side trail along the bottom of a scenic V-notch canyon. This is a pleasant route for hikers, horse riders, and anglers who want to stay near a stream and avoid elevation gain. The trail is outside the wilderness and is currently open to vehicles, but it passes through soft wet areas. It is more important as a route for its own sake than as an access to the Wilderness. Entering the Wilderness from this trail involves a steep off-trail climb up the sidewall of the Duchesne River Canyon.
