Description

Needles Lodge at the top of the Needles gondola offers dining views of the most spectacular scenery around. At 8,750 feet, with five fireplaces, Needles is quiet elegance, inside and out. Antique furniture, beautiful carpeting and tapestries, luxurious dining tables and chairs adorn the indoor dining area, which seats 160. Our heated, glassed-in patio seats an additional 100 guests. Or enjoy a moment of peaceful relaxation on our comfortable, upholstered couches and armchairs downstairs.

Needles is open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and lunch is served from 11 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Similar to Earl’s Lodge, Needles also has serving stations where you order directly from the cook and can watch your food being prepared.

This year, Needles Lodge will feature Austrian cuisine, in addition to most of the same menu items served at Earl’s Lodge.

Austrian specialties such as goulash soup, bratwurst with sauerkraut and German potato salad, wienerschnitzel with pommes frites, cabbage rolls with German potato salad, and apple strudel will be served daily. Other Austrian entrees will be served from time to time as specials. Experience the flavor of Austria in the Alps of Utah. Wilkommen to Needles.
