Created in 1963 by the Glen Canyon dam, Lake Powell has become one of America's favorite water-based recreation destinations. Nestled deep within the red cliffs and beautiful scenery typically found within the American Southwest, this lake has something for everyone.
Houseboating may be the largest activity on this huge lake, and for good reason. With a myriad of canyons to explore, warm waters to enjoy and incredible natural habitats, including a healthy fish population and perfect beaches for camping, Lake Powell is your ideal vacation destination.
Four great marinas can be found on the lake and provide the best opportunities for launching a houseboat or powerboat. A list of boats offered on the lake can be found below. We have the best prices around and no one beats our wide selection. Click on any name for more detailed information.

To have the capacity for twenty people to sleep on board, the 75' Excursion combines five staterooms, two fold-outs and two queen-sized cushions on the upper deck. It's an amazing experience to sleep under the stars, especially in such luxury as this houseboat provides.
For large groups looking for a larger houseboat, but still mindful of the cost, the 62' Journey is perfect. Up to twelve people can sleep on board, split between four rooms and six beds. If it feels cramped, the top deck has cushions to sleep under the stars. While awake, alternate between hot tub and Lake Powell, a movie on the large flat screen TV and a nice meal from the full kitchen.
A newer addition to Lake Powell, the 54' Escape houseboat takes the high luxury of larger boats and shrinks it into a more affordable package. The list of amenities is amazing, with highlights including an eight-person hot tub, flat screen TV and a large kitchen (with an island). All this and still room for up to twelve people to sleep inside, with extra sleeping capacity counting the top deck cushions.
Taking a larger luxury houseboat and optimizing it for affordability gets you the 48' Navigator. Small but with high class furnishings it strives to be a balance of that luxury with cost-conscious groups. You still get the appliances (two ovens, even) and deck furniture, a large kitchen with an island, and the remote fuel tank.
The 46' Expedition Houseboat is perfect for up to six people. The half shaded upper deck is a nice touch to give you partial shade from the summer sun. When it gets to be too much, hit the slide and cool off. Beds are placed throughout and there's no shortage of sitting room if you want to invite friends over for a movie.
