Description

2,800 acre Scofield Reservoir is on the northern edge of the Wasatch Plateau. It offers good opportunities for boating, water skiing and fishing in summer, and in winter serves as a base for snowmobilers. The lake is stocked with rainbow and cutthroat trout.

Along the shore is modern Scofield State Park. It has a modern restroom with showers and boat slips and launch. It is set a bit out in the open, with the heights of the Wasatch Plateau rising a few miles off.

14 day stay limit, 34 units at Mountain View (six miles south of Scofield) - Fee of $11; 40 units at Madsen Bay (north end of the reservoir) - Fee of $9; 100 tent sites at each location, Day use fee $5 at each spot.
