Description

The West Seattle Water Taxi is more than a way to get from one end of the Elliot Bay to the other. It’s an attraction in itself. Depart from Seattle’s downtown waterfront at Pier 55 and ride toward the beaches and parks of West Seattle. Or depart from West Seattle’s Seacrest dock toward the dramatic skyline of downtown Seattle. Either way (or both ways), the scenery is spectacular. It’s a short ride, only 12 minutes one-way, but as the ferry runs seven days a week, you can ride it as much as you want in season (which is April 27th to October 31st).

The water taxi leaves about every 40 minutes on weekdays and about every hour on weekends. Seacrest side, the ferry runs from 6:50 am to 7:10 pm on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, it runs from 6:50 am to 11 pm. Saturday, it runs 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Sunday, it runs from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
