The Bear River provides pleasant flat water canoeing opportunities between the Idaho/Utah border and Cutler Reservoir northwest of Logan. There are not any developed put-in or take out locations, but most canoeists start at Hwy 142, about 4 miles east of Trenton and take out 11 miles downstream at Hwy 128 east of Almaga.
