This pretty route follows a well maintained dirt and gravel road through some nice little stands of Big Tooth Maple in the lower part of the canyon. As you climb you get into more Mt Mahogany and then most of the way it's aspen and Douglas Fir with sagebrush breaks. A picnic area with tables and toilet is at the 2 mile mark.
