The Negro Bill Canyon Trail climbs a slickrock canyon along a stream to the base of Morning Glory Natural Bridge. Its 243 foot span makes it the sixth largest natural bridge in the country.
This is a very pleasant hike through two small canyons on the edge of the Uinta National Forest. Unfortunately both of the canyons are dry, although for a short distance the walk is along the pretty Nobletts Creek.
North Canyon Trail travels 7 miles through the Orange Cliffs to the 4wd road that leads to the Maze Overlook. Those without a 4wd vehicle can use this trail to hike into the Maze District proper.
This easy trail climbs gradually up to Rudy's Flat, a small grassy area in the Wasatch Mountains. It meets up with Mueller Park Trail (aka Mill Creek-Loop Trail)coming from Mueller Park.
This trail is a scenic route, especially in the early season when the high country is still blanketed in snow and the river bottom is blanketed in spring wildflowers. This trail and the connecting East Fork Trail are good "back door" entrances to the Pinto Lake and Grandaddy Basin areas for people who wish to avoid the crowded Highline Trail.
A trail system that provides a route from Trial Lake and the Crystal Lake Trailhead through Notch Mountain to Bald Mountain Pass, with spurs leading to Meadow Lake and the Weber River. Provides access to several alpine lakes.
Observation Point Trail branches off of Hidden Canyon Trail at the .6 mile mark. The trail is a narrow paved catwalk cut into the steep Echo Canyon wall for a portion. All along are great views, but the final panoramic view out over Zion Canyon is fantastic.
Old Ephraim was the last known grizzly bear in Utah. A stone marks the spot where the huge bear was killed in 1928. The trail wends through open meadows and forested sections to the site. The trailhead is at Lodge Campground.
Old Wagon Trail crosses a wash and then climbs through shrub woodland along an old wagon road. The trail leaves the road near the end and climbs to a knoll with great views of the reef.
Browns Park is one of the best places to experience the rich shores of the Green River and Outlaw Trail is one of the best river trails. Expect to see osprey, otter and moose as you walk.
