Big Water Trail runs through pleasant forests to a junction with Desolation Trail near popular Dog Lake. The trail is very popular with mountain bikers, though bikes are prohibited on odd numbered days. The trailhead is at the end of the Mill Creek drive.

Blowhard drops steeply for a mile or so through heavy timberland to the edge of Red Canyon with great views of it and adjacent Cedar Breaks amphitheater.

The Bonneville Shoreline Trail runs north to south along the lower elevations of Mt. Ogden. It begins at the Ogden River Parkway along Hwy. 22 and intersects each of the trails into Taylor's Canyon, Waterfall Canyon and Strong Canyon. It ends at the Beaus Canyon Trail. It's a good early season choice.

If you hike Boulder Creek, expect to get wet and expect to get wet often. The touch of water is refreshing in the summer - as is the dramatic scenery.

Boulder Mail Trail is a historic overland trail that crosses three canyons, each with its own hiking flavor.

This trail switches back from the Boundary Crek canyon bottom onto a bench, then gradually upward through conifer forests and small meadows to Baker Lake. In some areas there are old tie hack cabins.

The trail climbs gradually at first through heavy forest and then more steeply up open slopes and a pleasant gully to Baker Pass overlooking Big Cottonwood Canyon.
